New Q-On ‘M-Series’ UPS System from Powermode

Powermode’s new Q-On M-Series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system, targeted at commercial and industrial applications, is designed to deliver high performance redundant power protection. It features scalable power and run time options geared to reduce total cost of ownership over the long term.

The Q-On M-Series is available in a basic 15 kVA configuration which can be expanded with the addition of modular units to 90 kVA or 120 kVA - all with ‘N+1’ redundancy.

The M-Series provides ideal power protection for mission-critical infrastructures in multiple applications including computer centres containing power-sensitive IT and telecommunications equipment.

The compact, space-optimised design of the M-Series – around 20% smaller in terms of foot-print than conventional UPS systems of comparable power - frees up real estate in space-constrained environments such as data centres.

The redundant, fully scalable design complements many of the features found in the latest high-performance servers, switches and storage devices that support business-critical applications including converged networks and network storage.

The M-Series incorporates hot-swappable UPS modules with each module being a complete UPS incorporating charger, inverter, static switch and control. They operate on a load-sharing basis.

Users will benefit from the Q-On M-Series’ ease of deployment and serviceability which makes the unit ideal for use in remote sites.
