Senior Sales Engineer
Location Sandton, Johannesburg

Salary R500K – R700K OTE
An opportunity with a leader in the field of advanced power management systems, based in Sandton. A high level of technical knowledge and sales skills are required to grow existing revenue and develop new corporate clients. Strong Project Management attributes are essential
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing existing and new corporate and end user clients
- Achieving agreed profitability targets
- Developing and converting pipeline targets
- Ownership through to completion of projects in partnership with Service Engineers and sub-contractors
- Compiling professional proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Requirements
- A minimum 8 - 10 years experience in engineering, system integration and/or electrical applications or power related products
- Technical knowledge of UPS and/or other power quality equipment, batteries and or distribution switchgear
- Detailed knowledge of commercial negotiation and technical sales skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Experienced and close working relationships with consulting/electrical engineers
- Working knowledge of MS Office products and CRM
- Developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self motivated and goal orientated
